Robert Herrick

Robert Herrick is an award-winning screenwriter and author who worked for 20 years as a software developer.

He helped create over fifty commercially released games and educational titles, including the best-selling Cabela’s Big Game Hunter Series. After the company he co-founded was sold to Activision, Robert transitioned to writing children’s books and has been a member of the SCBWI for 20 years.

Five years ago, he saw how print-on-demand made self-publishing accessible to authors. It also made a fertile ground for every kind of scam to take money away from those authors. His goal is to prevent authors from wasting money on things they can easily do themselves. He has written several books on self-publishing, and has presented webinars and conference presentations on self-publishing at several events.

He lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
