Jim & Jayne Dobbin

Jim and Jayne Dobbin have enjoyed a life of adventure, borne from a common love of reading. They’ve lived on a sailboat, seen many parts of the world, and travelled extensively around Australia by car, boat, train, motorcycle … and flying their own plane.

In creating a story about an adventurous guinea pig with a passion for learning, they hope to encourage other young adventurers to see the world as a place where curiosity and a willingness to look beyond are openly rewarded.

They are about to embark on their next adventure, sailing around the Great Barrier Reef to research a new book about Flinders, the curious guinea pig.
