K.M. MacVey

Karen MacVey is a musician, scientist, educator, and author. She holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Interdisciplinary Science degrees. Karen recently retired after 33 years as a classroom teacher, teaching band for a dozen years and then teaching various high school science courses. She especially enjoys making learning new and complicated things a fun experience. She and her partner have 5 dogs; Scout, Tucker, Apollo, Gryffin, and Peewee, and an Umbrella Cockatoo named KC. They currently make their home in the great state of Texas.
