Lost Boy Found - The Story of a Modern Day Lazarus

If this short bio is the only thing you ever read by me, it would be a shame if I didn't share with you the most important thing that I have ever learned. Raised going to a marginally Christian church every Sunday, as a child I believed in God, but disillusionment with the ugly mess of the world and the illogical, contradictory doctrines of the church drove me to atheism. Shortly after that I became a hard-core alcoholic and drug addict, and wallowed in that pit for over 18 years, living on the streets for the better part of 10 years, and was in jail over 100 times. Fortunately, God was merciful to me and sent a friend who inspired me to start praying again. Almost certain that it was completely futile, I did so anyway because it appeared that I was destined to die young, and if there was a God, a miracle seemed very likely the only way that I would live very long or have any chance of ever being happy. At the point of death He revealed Himself to me, and since then I've been one of the happiest people that I know! It's now been over 31 years since God set me free from slavery to alcohol and drugs.

If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior today, either you stopped reading this already, or like I was at one point, you are extremely unlikely to reconsider God now. Please, don't slam the door on Him! God though the prophet stated, "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13 If you read anything from the Bible, or talk to anyone about God, or think about Him … if you follow this path with a sincere heart, you will find Him. He is kind and merciful, and wants ALL to know His love and peace ... you are not relegated to a life of mediocrity, misery or quiet desperation.
