Christopher Buell is the definition of an entrepreneur. He has owned and operated about a half dozen businesses from Non-Emergency Transportation to a cell phone booth in a swap mart where he would meet the subject of his first book. Always the dreamer, he wrote his first book Golden Nuggets of Hobo Wisdom with the hope he could help turn this guy's life around and make a buck in the process. It took 4 long years and far more money than he anticipated, or thought was possible to spend on a book about a hobo. After dozens of rewrites, re-edits, and struggling with all the things it takes to get a book off the ground, he swore he’d never write another book again. His greatest book achievement didn’t come in the form of sales, but rather a college professor of English studies reading the book and saying “You have talent, real talent. You should be a writer.”
Several years later, and after spending much time as a volunteer on the popular website “7 Cups of Tea” that provides free support to listeners in need, Christopher realized a pattern. That pattern was that he was sharing much of the same encouragement/advice to so many of the listeners he was talking to. Within a single day he cataloged all of these “Golden Nuggets” of how he beat his own depression and made a short eBook, that was still well over 10,000 words. Golden Nuggets Guide for Men to Smash Loneliness, Cure Depression, and Live a Kick Ass Life!
This seemingly forever single bachelor began writing Golden Nuggets of International Dating, due to the age-old adage, “You should stop looking for love, and enjoy being single.” After years of hearing this tired trope, he decided to embrace singlehood to the fullest by signing up for one of those international dating agencies. He thought, “Eh…why not…what do I have to lose.” And with that, so began the third installment of the Golden Nuggets Trilogy. His writing style is highlighted by a running theme of politically incorrect “humor,” written in the most vernacular of American dialects, and with his ever present “word flavoring” – or lies.
