Vivienne Cawson

Vivienne initially trained in printed textile design before painting professionally in 2005.

Wonderfully inspired by flowers - their colour and natural form, she enjoys contrasting these with geometric patterns in fabrics and incorporating vessels in her compositions. Using watercolour spontaneously, she creates lively, fresh work removed from faithful reproduction of her collected subjects.

Vivienne has exhibited widely. She continues to teach, demonstrate and lead workshops in the art of watercolour. A member of The Leicester Society of Artists (LSA) and The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA), she has won numerous prizes for her work.
