Heather Reyburn

Heather is the author of seventeen rural fiction novels set in Australia, New Zealand and Scotland. Having spent many years living in rural Queensland, she draws on her knowledge and love of country life to create stories filled with memorable characters, beautiful landscapes and heartfelt relationships.

Born and raised in New Zealand, Heather Reyburn’s happiest childhood memories were made on her family’s sheep and cattle farm. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong love of the countryside, animals and farming life—passions that continue to inspire her writing today.

Reading and writing were always an important part of Heather’s family life, and from an early age she dreamed of becoming a writer. While work, travel and raising a family took priority after she settled in Queensland, it wasn't until retirement she was finally able to pursue her dream. When not writing, Heather can be found in her garden, hiking or spending time with family.
