Nick Carson is a consulting brand writer, specialising in defining and expressing brand voice. He collaborates with strategists and designers at agencies and brands to develop distinctive verbal identities, brand stories, and brand positioning.

A former design editor and journalist, Nick launched and continues to chair the Brand Impact Awards to reward the world's best branding. He was the author of Virgin by Design, exploring 50 years of the Virgin brand (Thames & Hudson, 2020).
