Julde (Jul-DAY) Halima Ball is a Former U.S. Army Brat born in Germany, while her dad was stationed there for military duty. Julde was raised in a practicing Muslim family with ethnically diverse parents. Julde's dad is from Virginia and her mom is from Sierra Leone, but she was raised on various American military bases. As an adult, Julde enjoys charitable and community work. While attending Lehman College- CUNY, she was secretary of the Muslim Woman Leadership club (Spring 2019). While finishing up her remaining Bachelor credits a Lehman college, she began writing her first book and memoir Growing Up an American Muslim Army Brat. Now that Julde finished her Bachelors degree during the Winter 2020 session, she'll be writing literature more frequently. Julde hopes that her literature can bring future change to the conditions of American Muslims. Most of Julde's literature would be centered on topics she wishes to see more frequently about being a Black Muslim woman in today's time.
