Barbara Latta

Barbara Latta is a southern writer born in Arkansas and transplanted to Georgia with seven states in between. She writes for her local newspaper, contributes to online magazines and devotional sites and is active in the Conyers, Georgia chapter of Word Weavers International. She received a certificate in Bible Studies from Charis Bible College and a graduate of Jerry Jenkins Writers Guild. Barbara has taught women's Bible studies at her local church and is available for speaking engagements. She is a member of the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association and has completed the Power Speaking Course through AWSA.

She and her husband love riding their Harley, seeking new adventures and locations to explore. This also provides great photo ops and a chance to experiment with her passion for photography. Her first book, God's Maps, was inspired by some of their motorcycle trips. One of her favorite stops while traveling is to peruse and examine historical sites with an occasional break to investigate antique stores.

Barbara enjoys family time with her husband, two sons, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. She also loves animals and lives with two dogs and occasionally dog sits for her three grand dogs.

Writing is her passion and reading a favorite hobby. Her goal is for her writing to inspire others to seek a relationship with God and a deeper walk with Him.
