Jonathan A. Wood

Jon Wood serves as Vice President for Student Life and Christian Ministries and Associate Professor of Theological Studies at Cedarville University.

Jon’s passion is to know, love, and glorify God and to make multiplying disciples to reach the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His desire is to fulfill the Great Commission by equipping university students to make disciples in the church for the rest of their lives. Jon received his bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma. He also received his Masters of Divinity and his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology with a focus in the doctrine of Scripture, hermeneutics, and cultural engagement from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Jon's free time is filled with running, reading, drinking coffee, spending time with friends, and enjoying life with his family. Jon and his wife, Ellen, have four children: Jackson, Olivia, Parker, and Lincoln.
