DR Fraley

Rev. Dr. DR Fraley was born (Sept. 11th) in Kettering, Ohio, to conservative Christian parents, grew up in the Greater Dayton Area, and often spent his Summers in Athens, Tennessee visiting his grandparents. He loves learning and education and has spent over 14 yrs in higher education pursuing degrees. Concurrently for twenty years, he taught acting and film in the Greater Chattanooga Area. His first book, "Achieving Excellence in Business," published when he was 18 yrs old was written by Kenneth E. Ebel. DR provided all the illustrations. He has served as a youth minister and Sunday school teacher for over 30 years. Seeing a need to connect the film community, DR founded FilmChatt in 1999. In 2014, he began teaching at Bryan College. While at Bryan, he took over as the Executive Director for the Broad Street Film Festival. He also implemented the Bryan Lion Film Festival as a celebration of the arts for students. The shows often included stand-up comedy, poetry, dance, and public performances along with a lot of student films.

DR is a passionate, innovative, dynamic provider of film services with a collaborative approach to creating and delivering outstanding world-class client and user experiences. Most people simply call him DR (or Doc). His background has been as an Actor, Director, Minister, Producer, Professor, Writer, and National Speaker. He tends to work around his home community of Chattanooga, TN and in the Southeastern region of the USA.

DR thanks God for all He has done and is continuing to do in this passion of the heart. DR tends to focus on projects relating to Faith & Family issues. He is the parent of a special needs child, coaches his other daughter with her online schooling and shooting sports, teaches with his wife at their local church, and understands the struggles of those living with disabilities.
