To aid in the accuracy of her depiction of Rome and Judea, she studies the writings of the ancient Roman writers, Tacitus and Suetonius, and the Jewish historian, Josephus.

She lived and worked in Papua New Guinea for over a year as a short-term assistant with Wycliffe Bible Translators and adds her knowledge of that island to her novella, “The Heiress and The Ex-Con”.

Her husband Bob Wagner edits and co-writes books with her. He has a diverse background, having taught writing in high school, umpires youth through adult baseball, and coached university baseball.

Now the husband and wife team has time to devote to writing adventurous books for young people and adults. His special gift is adding action and suspense to ordinary scenes that transform stories into page-turning reads.
