In her first book, An Expression Of Love, a heartfelt story of parental uncoupling, Laura Phoenix Power shares positive modalities in communication for families working through parental break-up or divorce. Her message supports the heart of the matter; that each family member is worthy of health, respect, and love. As a child of multiple divorces and a divorced parent, Laura has experienced many aspects, both successful and disparaging of parental uncoupling. As a writer on divorce, Laura guides the reader towards acknowledging and preserving healthful relationship elements while healing the heartbreak through self-acceptance and communication.

Laura is a mother, storyteller, advocate, jugger of moments, and archivist of memories. Her heart belongs to her children, mother earth, Atlanta, and the salty waters of her childhood home in the Caribbean. Based in Atlanta, she is currently raising two kids and writing the next book in her Expression Of Love series. When she's not writing, Laura works mentoring and supporting women who are hungry for positive growth and seek powerful shifts towards self-love.
