Alan Watkins

Alan was originally trained as a medical doctor and he also has a first-class degree in Psychology and a PhD in immunology.

He is the founder and CEO of Complete, a leadership consultancy that advises hundreds of completely different businesses in totally different market sectors, in multiple geographies. His work includes many different types of businesses from innovative tech start-ups to FTSE 10 giants. He consults with them on how to grow their revenues, transform their strategy, step change their leadership capability, develop their culture, modernize their D&I agenda as well as significantly improve the mental health of their employees. He is a disruptive thinker and a modern business innovator. He can take complex global concepts from multiple market sectors, integrate his own ideas with the wisdom of the crowd and create novel answers that have proven extremely helpful to the client he advises. In addition to working with executive teams and organisations, Alan also worked with the GB squad prior to the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympics and is a visiting Professor in Business at Kingston University, London

Alan has appeared extensively on TV and radio. He was the sole expert on a BBC1 series ‘Temper your Temper’ seen by 2 million viewers. He has also been a guest of Radio 4’s Today show, Radio 2’s Jeremy Vine’s show as well as many local and global media outlets. He is an inspiring and entertaining keynote and his TEDx lectures have attracted over 5 million views. He has written seven books on a range of topics from leadership to how to solve the world’s toughest problems.
