Sara Salam

Sara is a published author and Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging for Sharks Sports and Entertainment, which owns the NHL's San Jose Sharks. Her passion is entertaining, educating and empowering people through content. She primarily writes about rules and relationships, how expectations and norms shape how we relate to each other and how we view ourselves.

Sara became a published author at age 11. Sara has garnered over 13 years of experience in talent management, where she worked in professional sports organizations – the World Champion Boston Red Sox and Steve Ballmer’s LA Clippers – before joining the San Jose Sharks. She holds a BA from UCLA and currently resides in southern California where she enjoys writing, yoga, and the beach.
