M. C. Abushar

M. C. Abushar is an educator, author, artist and pianist. Motivated by her commitment to providing quality education for the young, she earned a doctorate in K-12 education administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. In her role as principal of a parochial primary school in Los Angeles, she acquired mastery in conversing with young children.

She currently writes and illustrates picture books for children aged 3-8. Every title in the series "Tyler the Rabbit" was awarded the Mom's Choice Award® honoring excellence and a 5-star rating by OnlineBookClub. She translated Book One into French and continues to translate her other books. The stories inspire children to seek fun by helping someone in trouble while showing kindness.

Her performance of the Nocturne No. 6, Op. 24, known as "Le Lac de Côme", is posted on YouTube. French composer Giselle Galos intended it to reflect the peace that a visitor gains when contemplating the view of Lake Como in Italy.
