If the rule is to write what you know and love what you write, then that's exactly what I'm aiming to do. I'm a deputy in a rural Tennessee county that loves spooky books. I'm also a veteran of Iraq, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. I have a BA in History and a MBA. Before entering the world of law enforcement and after my adventures overseas I was a high school History teacher. That was fun, but chasing crazy folks down in the middle of the night is way cooler.

Share interesting details about yourself? Hmmm... Well, I've arrested over 500 people in five years and I'm a member of the SWAT team. I was the mission leader on 115 missions in Mosul and Telafar, Iraq. I'm married with two girls (one angel and one gremlin).

My writing style is true to the way cops talk because I wanted to tell the truth through my writing. This results in a rather rough and cold writing style. I've just published my first book on Amazon. I've already started my second book and I'm liking my second one even more than my first. Like tattoos and nicotine, it's habit forming.
