C E Hunt

CE Hunt is known for his compelling social commentary and colorful travel writing. His work has been published by Texas A&M University Press, University of Texas Press, The Houston Chronicle and many other publications, including Black Past and Exotica Moderne.

He recently completed the three-part Steve Miles series which took his readers across the United Sates and Europe as Hunt's protagonist, Steve Miles, seeks to learn who he really is and what he is seeking out of life. Hunt's work includes penetrating social commentary and colorful descriptions of many locales, including West Texas, Paris, Provence, Spain (Costa Brava) and New Orleans.

Hunt is currently working on a mystery featuring a private detective that goes by the name of Buddy Jenks. Jenks is a quirky person obsessed with the 1960s from its architecture to its music to its overall aesthetic who is forced to live in the present. A native of New Orleans, he lives mostly in the Fort Lauderdale area and is friends with a very colorful gang from all walks of life. The type of folks one often finds in beach communities.
