William Lockhart

William (Bill) Lockhart was born in East Chicago, Indiana in 1950. He played music in different rock bands until 1981, when he received Jesus as his savior. He enrolled in bible school and since then has dedicated his talents to worshiping and serving his God. He also attended Life Christian University, in Tampa.

With over 35 years as a worship leader, songwriter and Bible teacher, Bill has demonstrated a solid foundation in the scriptures and a sincere love for the Word of God.

With three adult children grown and out of the nest, he traveled on mission trips to Quito Ecuador to work with children at risk. While there he received a strong desire to have children of his own again. To fulfill this desire, Bill and his wife, Phyllis, served as foster parents for more than fifty other children. They now live in Tampa, Florida, along with their daughter Abigail, whom they adopted in 2007.

I believe it is the responsibility of each generation of Christians to share their wisdom, their experiences and their insights with those who will follow after."
