Diana Townsend

Writing has always been a part of my life as my mother wrote books, magazine stories and even TV plays, in the days when dramas were transmitted live.

Over the years, I have written plays for schools and community groups, which were always great fun, and film scripts including two feature films which have been produced by Inspired Toad Productions.

I am lucky enough to live near the sea and love walking on the beach, swimming - but only in the summer when it's VERY hot - and trying to keep my garden under control.

My first novella, Gin on the Rock, was published in January 2020. It is a true account of an unexpectedly exciting trip that I took with my husband soon after we were married.

In April 2020, it was followed by my first full-length book, Me, My Family and the Poltergeist, which is the first in a series of memoirs and explains how my family and I came to share a derelict school with an uninvited guest.
