Nancy Schaffer

Nancy Schaffer was born in 1952, the last of four children born to Glenn and Esther Yoder, in South Bend, Indiana. She has always enjoyed writing since she was a teenager but only had a magazine article published for all of her endeavors. Since she retired in 2018 she can now concentrate on her passion, which is writing children's stories and writing Bible studies for women.

She has a Facebook Page called Women of the Bible and has published her first book with Covenant Publishing called Guard the Fort. She has published two books since then - one is Her Story in His Story, and Christian Yoder, Amish Immigrant. The bible study book is about fourteen women whose lives are changed, uplifted and challenged when they meet the Living God.

Christian Yoder, Amish Immigrant is about Nancy's ancestor who came to this country from Switzerland in 1742 and was part of the first Amish Church in America.
