Remy Dean

Remy's latest novel, 'This', is the first in an epic fairy-tale-fantasy series inspired by local folklore. Written with Zel Cariad as creative consultant, it is his first book for children, young adults and adults with plenty of imagination!

'This' (parts one, two and three) is available now, via amazon and, as one reader review puts it, "will be enjoyed by fans of fantasy of all ages, particularly those who like classics, like the Narnia saga," another reader review simply describes it as, "Bursting at the seams with magic!"

Remy Dean is currently a Creative Consultant in Education for the Arts Council of Wales and the Writer in Residence at the Snowdonia National Park's Environmental Studies Centre.

He is editor of ‘The Signifier’, the art journal for Medium, and co-edits ‘Scrawl’, an on-line literary journal, recently recognised by the National Library of Wales as, “an important part of Wales’ documentary heritage.” He is also a film critic for ‘Frame Rated’. His works of fiction for grown-ups include 'Scraps', a novel, 'Final Bough', a tale of the supernatural, and the recent short story collection, 'The Race Glass'.

Remy Dean is a 'child-of-the-sixties' born in South Wales, and now lives with his wife, daughter and dog in Snowdonia. He is an artist and author of more than ten published books and many features in national newspapers and magazines. He is also a story-teller, lecturer on art and folklore, and hosts creative workshops.
