Joseph M Boylan

Joseph M Boylan has written four books. In 1998 he published a poem called "Cycling." He had a serialized story KEN CALENDAR KEN CROSS published in PAPIER MACHE literary magazine in 2001; had a short story "Uncle Fish" published in the magazine THE FIRST WORD in 2003, which was then turned into a dramatic reading by Bard college and read over public radio in 2004. From 2010 through 2012 he was a contributor to Bleacher Report covering Philadelphia sports and the Penn State scandal in 2011 and 2012. His essay on the career of NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb was the main link on McNabb's website for a number of years. He has been a guest on WIP Sports Radio and Your Local Note in Philadelphia, PA; Hometown Heroes on WSTW in Wilmington, Delaware; Arcadia University's college radio and the national podcast State of Amorica. His fictional writing is mainly humorous with a touch of the surreal. He lives in Delaware County, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children and is amazed by the process of making pottery. He once shared an elevator with Tara Lipinski and believes his interaction with her is responsible for all of her success.
