Beth Casey

Born in 1961 with a birth defect called spina bifida, I have lived my life from a wheelchair since I was 18 months old. I am an only child. I have loved to read and write since I was a child. Currently I am revising a YA (young adult) novel, tenatively titled, "Moving On" and writing a historical fiction novel titled "The Hensel House, both of which I plan to have ready for publication by late summer or early Fall. Each of the aforementioned novels are loosely based on fact, the first my life as a teenager with a disability; and the second, a novel about my great-grandmother's rooming house in the 1940s, but set a century earlier in yet to be a state, California.
