Amanda Painter Diver

Dr. Amanda Painter Diver, PT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy living in Colorado with her husband and fur-kids. Amanda is the owner of The Rowing Doc and Strong and Empowered Physio.

Amanda has been rowing on and off the water since high school in 2001. She began her rowing career at Berkshire School in New England and continued by joining the crew team as a Division I rower at Santa Clara University. Shortly after graduation, she went on to get her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Samuel Merritt University. Her rowing experience combined with her passion to help people stay active and prevent injuries led her to start her own business helping both rowers on the water as well as the average gym-goer who uses the indoor rowing machine.

Amanda’s career mission is to help people use the indoor rowing machine efficiently and without aches and pains. She wants everyone on a rowing machine to know what to do and how to row for their body type without being confused or overwhelmed. Amanda enjoys learning new things and helping people be the best versions of themselves. Her personal goal is to row across the Atlantic Ocean in December 2022.
