Bo "MF" Ellis: Bo "MF" Ellis is a native of Pontiac, Michigan as well as a father and a US Army War Veteran who plays "The Vet" with a serious oral fixation in The Punany Poets' Verbal Penetration Show. He has been crowned Atlanta's Underground Grammy Poet of the Year. He has won many slams over the years and has amazed Punany Fans with poetry, comedy, and theatrics since 2005. Bo describes his performance style as a cross between the raw comedy of Redd Foxx and the sexual passion of Hugh Hefner. Bo Ellis will have you laughing one minute and fantasizing the next.

I'm not supposed to be here. I'm not supposed to be here, but I am is what I've told myself countless times. Escaping molestation from a stranger, being able to walk after being thrown from my car in an accident on the Autobahn in Germany, coming home with no serious injuries other than the mental ones I deal with after two deployments to the Middle East, surviving a robbery at a store I managed after fighting for my life in which I was stabbed several times during an altercation with the robber, retiring honorably with a medical discharge due to a hatch falling on me, just to name a few and I'm still here. It would be such a cliche for me to say I've been through a lot, knowing who hasn't been through a lot. I could bring up my depression from love that didn't work, baby momma, baby daddy issues, or my struggle of fighting through sexual addiction, or my lack of sleep from PTSD, or my battle with discrimination in and out of the Army

and racial profiling. Truth is, I did talk about it in my book. Although known as the King of Erotic to those who witnessed me on stage, i'm so much more than what i've gotten popular doing on stage. This book, my mini biography here is my life articulated poetically, sharing good times, bad times, fucked up times, real high times, times is how i can sum it up. Every time time has permitted me to write about something that just happened or something that troubled my mind, I wrote about it. Each chapter is filled with lessons in between the poetry and short stories. As pages start turning it would be hard for me to believe that anyone will get to the conclusion believing, now thats another story.
