Jennie Englund

Jennie Englund is the award-winning author of TAYLOR BEFORE AND AFTER (MacMillan 2020). She grew up fishing and swimming near Lake Tahoe with her seven sisters and brothers. Her biggest joy is exploring the natural world with the husband she met when she was eight. A twice National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow, Harvard Global Studies Scholar, and Geneva Security Centre graduate in Peace in Art & Media, Jennie has taught elementary- and middle-school, community college, and at fire officer academies. The scariest thing she's done was coaching a varsity boys' basketball team. And, while she believes that kindness is everything, she does love crafting a complicated villain.
