Christopher Strain

Christopher Strain was born in the Pacific Northwest. 1 of 8 children, he has always had a strong work and play ethic. He is an ICU nurse first and has touched many lives since his graduation in 2010. Having a deep passion for the quiet and splendor of nature, he spends much of his downtime learning about the natural wonders of the U.S. and traveling with his dog, Winston. When he isn't working, he's rock climbing, hiking, and trying the local cuisine or burying himself in a book in a used bookstore. Having grown up with acts like Abbott and Costello and Bob Hope, he enjoys a wide variety of movies and enjoys reading Agatha Christie, P.G. Wodehouse, and non-fiction war writers. He has a passion for learning and writing, and especially enjoys entertaining children with his little stories about animals. "Bernard the Sneezy Dragon" was his first children's book and he hopes to publish another children's book and a novel in 2020.
