Rams Barathy

Rams Barathy is the CTO of Future Wealth & Technologies GmbH. He is a leading innovator in financial services. Recently, he co-lead the development of the industry-first blockchain security framework at Deutsche Bank in collaboration with IBM Research. Before founding his current company, he spent 20 years in the technology industry performing innovation, strategy, consulting, and management roles at Deutsche Bank, Nokia, Atos Origin and Schlumberger. He also ran a robo-advisory startup focussed on emerging market stocks. He has extensive experience across different asset classes and has developed many algorithms and systems for investing and trading. His main research topics of interest are "AI driven Wealth analytics", “DeFi - Decentralised Finance” and “on-chain sustainable financial products”. Rams has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and MS in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Chennai. He lives in Switzerland.
