Jefferson Wang

Jefferson Wang is a Managing Director with Accenture Strategy in their Communications, Media and Technology practice and leads the Global Communications Industry for Accenture Strategy. For two decades he has focused on the wireless industry, working with network operators, device manufacturers, technology platform providers, content developers and start-ups through the end-to-end product development life-cycle.

Jefferson also leads Accenture’s 5G global initiatives for the post-smartphone device era, developing strategies and use cases to monetize 5G deployments. His client work takes place at the intersection of strategy, business and technology — converging the future home, autonomous vehicles and smart cities ecosystems.

Jefferson has appeared on CNN and Mobile World Live TV. He is a regular speaker at Mobile World Congress and his perspectives are featured frequently in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Fortune, The New York Times, Washington Post, Wired and BGR.

Jefferson is a serial entrepreneur, prior to Accenture he was a Senior Partner who led a broadband, wireless and media start-up to a successful exit. Jefferson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. He was born and raised in Maryland and now lives in San Francisco.
