Timid Masses

Inspired by many of the writers that arose during the Harlem Renaissance and the Civil Rights Movement; Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston, James Baldwin, Maya Angelo, Margret Walker and more...Timid Masses is a self-described social poet and storyteller who enjoys peeling back the layers of complexity and ambiguity to get to the core of issues. His writings stimulate introspective reflection, and causes readers to pause and contemplate everyday situations otherwise taken for granted. Writing since the age of thirteen, Timid’s writings have been published or featured in regional, national and international magazines. His most prominent work was on behalf of the Buffalo Soldier Monument Committee, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, where he penned the official poem titled, “Buffalo Soldier.”
