Ruthann Jagge

Ruthann grew up in Upstate New York, where October is otherworldly.

She writes dark and twisty fiction from her current home on a rural cattle ranch in Texas.

Many successful anthologies feature her short stories, along with a novella and co-authored novel.

2025 will bring the release of a Southern Gothic novel she's been dying to write titled "Coeur Noir-Black Heart."

Superstitions, backyard boogeymen, lore and myth, and complicated females influence her work.

She’s been a guest and moderator on literary panels, podcasts and interviews.

She enjoys travel, knows her way around the kitchen, and hates yard work.
