Gary Parkins

The author Gary Parkins, served in 3 Para in the early and mid-1970s with two tours in Northern Ireland.

A member of the Western Front Association, he visits the battlefields and places of military interest of Western Europe to both World Wars every year. Now retired after 42 years at Harrods, 32 of those years as the Security Operations Manager. He is married with one son and lives in South West London.

His first book, Wipers Gold, set Belgium in October 1914 is available on Amazon.

His second book, Gran Sasso, set in Italy in 1943 has recently been updated and is also published on Amazon.
