Albert Valk

Albert Valk is a retired Nurse Anesthetist living in Rockford Michigan. I have always loved writing and decided to pair that with my love of English medieval history. My first two books, "The Struggle for Supremacy" and "Ranalf Flambard" were academic

works. I then decided to learn to write fiction. I developed the four books Willowdale Series based on a small town in West Michigan. The first two books in the series I coauthored with Amanda Averill. My latest academic book returns to English

medieval church history with "Chapters and Bishops". My purpose in doing all of this is just to enjoy writing, and if any one gets pleasure or gains knowledge from my writing, all the better.
