Roger D'Aprix

Roger D'Aprix (pronounced Da'pree) is an author, consultant and former corporate communication executive with Xerox and General Electric. He is internationally recognized as one of the leading thinkers in the profession. His passion has always been people's connection with their work and the need to make workplaces more receptive to human talent and innovation, both for the individual's and the organization's benefit. It is a theme that he has explored in its varied facets in all eight of his published books.

He is particularly fascinated by the powerful relationship between bosses and the people they lead, a relationship,he asserts, that has been neglected by generations of senior leaders, who decline to provide leadership training and continuing development to the detriment of employee talent, customer service and the human need for fulfillment through work. This is a theme he returns to in his latest book "Bosses:True Stories of the Good, the Bad and the Ugly." His remedy for the problem is based on decades of experience as an executive and consultant to Fortune 500 companies.

The Communication Leader's Exchange, an association of corporate communication executives, has given him its lifetime award for his 'contributions to the evolution of organizational communication.'
