Andrew Micieli

Dr. Andrew Micieli completed his undergraduate degree and Business Master’s degree at the University of Toronto. He completed his medical school training at the University of Ottawa, and neurology residency at the University of Toronto. He then went on to complete a clinical stroke fellowship at the prestigious Calgary Stroke Program. His research focuses on decision analytic models to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of health technologies, specifically in atrial fibrillation and intracranial hemorrhage.

He is a stroke neurologist and neurohospitalist at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga campus part of the westGTA stroke network, and lecturer at the University of Toronto. He is a fellow of the Canadian Stroke Consortium. In addition to his inpatient clinical service, he runs a high volume outpatient clinic at THP seeing stroke and general neurology patients. His general neurology interests include headache and concussion. He has an interest in medical education and teaching medical students and residents.
