Martin Knapp

Martin Knapp was born in Oxford in 1952. He completed a degree in History at Peterhouse (Cambridge University) in 1973. After several years driving trucks and buses he fell more or less by accident into working as a developer in the nascent IT industry. In 1978 he moved to France, where he still lives, to get married and so acquired French citizenship. He retired in 2017 after 40 years in IT, since when he has not touched a computer except to write.
