Holger Haase is a German writer based in Cork, Ireland. A lifelong enthusiast of cult cinema and vintage paperbacks, his interests range from Sherlock Holmes and Hammer Horror to German Edgar Wallace Krimis—and countless other niche obsessions.
He is the co-editor of the Krimi! Magazine and has contributed to the upcoming Blu-ray releases of the Dr. Mabuse and CCC Krimi sets for Eureka. His writing has also appeared in "bare•bones", "The Sensational Sixties", and Paperback Fanatic’s "Men of Violence".
Holger is the author of "The Many Masks of Dr. Mabuse", "Yours Truly, Jack the Lodger: Exploring Jack the Ripper-Inspired Old Time Radio Shows", and "Ollie's Last Round".
When not juggling an ever-growing list of unfinished writing projects, he enjoys traveling, photography, and discovering forgotten gems of pulp fiction and cinema.
He recently also started guest appearing on podcasts such as "The Bloody Pit of Rod", "The Talking Pictures TV podcast" and "Cult Connections".
