Long Le-Khac is Assistant Professor of English at Loyola University Chicago. He researches the relations between Asian Americans and Latinxs in the contemporary U.S. His writing investigates America’s fastest-growing minority groups and how they are changing the social, political, cultural, and literary landscape. As the U.S. approaches the minority-majority threshold, he believes that scholarship revealing solidarities across racial categories will be essential. The son of Vietnamese refugees and immigrants, he grew up in the Philadelphia area and went on to receive his B.A. in English from Harvard University and his Ph.D. in English from Stanford University. In the classroom, he strives to instill in his students an appreciation for the incredible range of American literature and to equip them with tools for making sense of a dynamic, multi-racial society.
