Sandy Ross Jacobs

Sandy Ross Jacobs grew up in Philadelphia. She attended Overbrook High School, Pennsylvania State University, Temple University and Villanova University for undergraduate and graduate studies.

"I always liked to write and found that it came naturally to me. As a young adult I began to write travel and human interest articles, usually with a touch of humor. I freelanced and was fortunate to sell most of the articles I wrote.

"I never had the desire to write an entire book until 2019, the year of my 80th birthday.

Francie, the protagonist, came to me at night when I was between wakefulness and sleep. No one was more surprised than I! Eventually her character came to me in daylight hours urging me to write her story.

"So I sat down at my computer and the words poured onto the screen. Although the book is pure fiction, I learned a valuable lesson from my character: every life is a story and it's up to to each of us to fill in the details.

"So I wrote her story...and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it."
