He has obtained 33 national and foreign prizes and distinctions for his works of literary, graphic and stage creation.

Founder, screenwriter, comedian, artistic director and general director of the famous company "La Seña del Humor" in Cuba.

He performs theater, radio, television and cinema, appearing in several Latin American countries, as well as the United States. and Canada.

They have published 75 books by and about humor in much of Latin America and Spain, such as "El chupacabras de Pirque", "Cuentos de Ada", "Hamor y Umor", "Metahumorfosis. Experiencias y reflexiones de un humorista", " Thanks for teaching”, “Brief history of humor” and “Brief dictionary of humor”.

He also collaborates with his works of literary and graphic creation, as well as with his essay articles in various national and foreign publications.

He gives his talks and courses on humor and: health, personal development, the world of work, pedagogy and motivation to read.

He is the creator of humorous photomontages, collaborating in different publications in America and Europe, participating in individual exhibitions in Chile, the United States and Portugal, as well as other collective ones in many countries.
