Bethany DuVall writes stories with a touch of magic. Her characters live in the borders where the seen and the unseen worlds meet. She loves research, and uses story building as a form of travel. Her writing has taken her to continents far from her home, centuries back in time, and through the science and magic of memory and dream.
Bethany's current projects include a film script inspired by a combination of "Hansel and Gretel," hag stones, and prophecies about the moon. She is actively seeking representation for her upmarket novel The Former Lives of Buildings.
Bethany teaches in the Creative Writing for Entertainment MFA program at Full Sail University. She is a member of IAFA, vets short film scripts for a variety of production opportunities, and hosts creativity workshops in the Central Florida area. Her work appears in anthologies by Carpathia Publishing, Beating Windward Press, and Burrow Press. You can learn more about her, or shop her fair trade VIDA clothing line, at www.bethanyduvall.com.
