I am an English teacher of over twenty five years, and have finally got around to writing the books I knew I had inside me. My first book, "Just Me and My Football", started me off on this exciting journey, and was soon followed by the second book, "Just Me and My Films", in what has now become a trilogy of "Just Me and My..." books, with a third out now as well, this time “Just Me and My Funnies”, all about my love for UK comedy.

I've loved the process of writing, whilst letting people into my own life through different subject matters. My books are about sharing memories with the reader, and connecting with others through our shared memories. Although my books are autobiographical, the subjects I write about can be related to by so many others.

I'd like to think there is a generous helping of humour and warmth thrown in too, along with real passion and enthusiasm for my subject matter.
