John B Walters

John Walters was born in West Virginia and grew up in a little town called Davis. Davis was known as the highest incorporated town east of the Rockies. He received Jesus at about 12 years old through a Lutheran Seminary Student in training, but with no discipleship he did not live for the LORD at that time. Upon graduating from High School he went to Berea College in Berea, KY and graduated with a B. S. in Business Administration. He then attended Tulane University and Loyala University in New Orleans, LA graduating from Loyola with a Master of Business Administration.

John returned to the LORD on 7/7/77 after moving to Atlanta, GA and was Baptized in the Holy Spirit at that time. He completed his business career with 28 Years at Georgia Power Co. there. He led a Bible Study for many years at Georgia Power and he also started a ministry called Spirit of Elijah, Inc. while in Atlanta. He ministered on mission trips to Bulgaria and India with his late wife, Connie and built churches in both countries..

John is an Ordained Minister through South Point Church in Central Florida and is also an Ordained Chaplain through Inter-America’s Chaplain Ministry. He serves on the board of Agape Christian Enterpraises as well as serving as Treasurer of the ministry.

John has written three books, Benefits of Tithing For Today, Handbook on Tithing for Pastors, and It’s Time To Make Aliyah which are available on Amazon. The book on Aliyah was written at the LORD’s direction to encourage the Jewish people to immigrate to Israel. John’s many trips to Israel provided experiences which contributed to the writing of the book.
