Thomas K. Ascol

Tom Ascol is a graduate of Texas A&M (BS) & Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, PhD). He has served as a pastor since 1978. Since 1986 he has been the Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, FL. He has also taught systematic & pastoral theology in several seminaries & colleges, including as a Teaching Fellow in the Nicole Institute of Baptist Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL.

He is the President and one of the founders of Founders Ministries, a ministry committed to the recovery of the gospel and the reformation of churches. He is also the founding president of The Institute of Public Theology and, together with Tom Nettles and Voddie Baucham, part of the founding faculty of the Founders Seminary which opens its doors in September 2025.

Tom has written and edited eleven books and contributed to many more. He has written for magazines and theological journals including The Founders Journal, Tabletalk, Banner of Truth, Expositor, Reformation Today, & Southwestern Journal of Theology.

He & his wife, Donna, have six children. They also have 21 grandchildren with more on the way (DV)!
