Dr. Timothy Horner is the Co-Author of Covenant Healing: Bridging the Denominational Divide Through Theological Understanding and Co-Founder and Pastoral Counselor of Covenant Healing, LLC in Houston, Texas. Timothy's background is in Pastoral Care and Counseling services and has a prior background in the emergency services fields of Firefighting, Law Enforcement, Occupational Safety & Health, and Emergency Management. Timothy is also employed as an Adjunct Professor teaching a variety of courses in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, and Emergency Management, and Emergency Planning. Timothy's educational background consists of a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling, Master of Arts in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Pastoral Counseling, a Master of Science in Emergency Services Management, a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science. Timothy maintains active memberships through the American Association of Christian Therapists as a Pastoral Counselor and also active memberships with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, Christian Counselors of Texas, Houston Chapter, and the American Association of University Professors among many other Professional and Association Memberships. Grace is a Christian Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern for the State of Texas. Her background consists of Healthcare Administration and Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Similarly, Grace has experience in providing other family-related Resource Services to the U.S. Military community around Houston, Texas. Grace's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling, Master of Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Treatment of Trauma and Military Family Therapy, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration, and a Certification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. Grace holds an active membership through the American Association of Christian Counselors in Biblical Counseling & Spiritual Formation and other active memberships with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Christian Counselors of Texas, Houston Chapter. Grace is also a U.S. Navy Veteran, most notably having served during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2001, serving 8 years in the United States Navy; and also worked as an appointed Navy Ombudsman/Military Family Liaison for 3 years at Ellington Field, Houston, Texas.
