James Burgess

James Burgess was born in Marysville, CA and grew up in Gridley. Graduated from Yuba College with an A.S in Engineering Technology. He spent six years in the US Army. He returned to college at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO attaining his B.S. degree in English Bible and his Th.G in theology. After five years as a pastor, he returned to his earlier career in woodworking where he stayed until retirement.He began writing shortly before retirement. Now he is published in Inspire Press Anthologies: Inspire Love, Inspire Kindness, and Inspire Grace. A New Hope is the newest of his published works. He is currently working on his newest novel, Devastatingly in Love. His desire is to point others to a satisfying relationship with their significant other and to a lasting relationship to Jesus Christ.
