My ministerial qualification was at Moore Theological College in the Diocese of Sydney Australia, so I'm an Anglican. I could be classed as a mature Christian having past the age of 80. When one reaches my age, most of life's pleasures and tragedies have been experienced. My experience in the church mirrored much of the duplicity contained in a book "In the Closet of the Vatican" regarding hypocrisy, power, sexuality (both heterosexual and homosexual). From my Anglicanism I wrote my novel, "The Dean's Wife and Three Young Curates" under a pseudonym, sharing a similar denial of mainstream Anglican doctrine. My objective was to enlighten Christians about the many, who attend church on a Sunday and spend Monday to Saturday living their secular lives. It is fiction but one needs to have an open mind. It won't appeal to the atheist or agnostic but should appeal to Catholic, Episcopalian, Anglican and all it's derivatives. More particularly it would appeal to the Pentecostal because of the involvement of the Holy Spirit. It not only reflects intrinsic knowledge of the church but also my personal use of language without any profanities or swear words.
