Roy Calvin Moore

Roy Calvin Moore was born in San Benito, Texas, in March of 1932. Reaching the pinnacle of a United States Air Force Top Gun pilot, he was able to see the world as he served his country. This perspective, plus hours as a child listening to the “old-timers” about survival in Texas following the Civil War, led to the inspiration for his first novel. Characters of all walks would scramble to this area of South Texas for a piece of the American dream. They come to life in his debut novel.
